For a lot of folks, 2016 has been a hard year. For our family, it has actually been so good in so many ways. It is my belief that small life changes can have a significant ripple effect for the positive. One of the things that I took charge of in my own life in 2016 was to complete a Whole30 earlier this year. It involved more than changing my “diet” … and Whole30 is actually not a “diet” at all. So I’m pleased with my progress, but I have bigger goals and hope ahead for the New Year, and I’m inviting you to join me!
- Gave me clear skin
- I slept better than I have since my teenage years
- I had great energy all day long, with no dips in the midday hours
- I had no anxiety! (And actually discovered that I’d probably been wrestling with and adjusting to a constant, low-level underlying anxiety for years.)
- Great workouts
- Weight loss (almost 10 lbs in 30 days)
Because I am both ready to start the New Year with a good, clean slate, AND because I want to continue getting my body back into optimal shape by taking the time to explore the “Reintroduction” phase of Whole30, I’m doing it again.
